It starts with an idea – from a nation abroad, from a museum, from a scholar or curator, from an ambassador, from the TME staff – perhaps from you! Then TME makes the idea a reality. TME chooses a Guest Curator who is a scholar and expert on the subject of exhibition. The Guest Curator selects the objects for the exhibition and is responsible for the content of the catalogue.

TME’s expert staff, meantime, arranges for wall-to-wall insurance, the crating and shipping for each piece in the exhibition, the consolidation and dispersal, all administrative details, the production of the catalogue, troubleshooting, lender liaison, museum liaison, putting out numerous and inevitable fires, and with taking the exhibition on the road –
with top security and no glitches.
